As promised, here is my favorite recipe for overnight oats! For anyone who hasn’t heard of them, overnight oats are an easy no-cook method to make oatmeal, a classic and healthy breakfast.
What you’ll need:
Milk (or milk substitute)
Any oats of your choice (old fashioned oats, quick-cooking oats, etc.)
Anything extra!
Chia seeds
Greek yogurt
Vanilla extract
Honey or maple syrup
Fresh or dried fruit
What you’ll do:
Mix together your milk and oats of choice. A good ratio is 1.5 cups of milk for every cup of oats!
Cover and let soak in the fridge until the morning!
By the next morning your oats should be thick and ready to eat! You can heat them up in the microwave if you prefer them warm.
Add your toppings! My go-tos are bananas, strawberries, maple syrup, and a dollop of Greek yogurt!
Overnight oats are whole grain and packed with fiber! A great way to start the day! Let us know what you think!
